Ryan Kealey is a Research Assistant at Offroad Robotics. Ryan completed a 12 month internship with MacLean Engineering as a Hydraulic/Mechanical designer for their bolter product line. This internship focused on designing hydraulic control systems for the bolter as well as doing some overall mechanical design. While on internship Ryan also completed his undergraduate thesis on creating an autonomous system for the MacLean 975 series scissor bolter. Over the summer, Ryan and Jack Caldwell will be continuing the research Ryan started in his thesis with an NSERC Engage Grant between MacLean Engineering and Queen’s University.
